Raymond "Ray" Henderson

Raymond “Ray” Henderson, age 58, of La Farge, passed away peacefully knowing that he was loved and not alone on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center. He was born on September 6, 1963, in Lawrence, Kansas to Donald Henderson and Barbara Goddard. His father served in the military and his family moved around a bit, but most of his life was spent in Kansas. Ray was a jack-of-all -trades and worked in construction, a factory, was a cab driver, but his passion was being a truck driver. Ray loved to cook for others and have get-togethers at the house. He had a true servant heart with a love for others. Ray adopted all six of his children. He was the daddy he didn’t have to be. Survivors include his wife, Beckie; his children, Kaylee, Ronon, Nick, Misty, Stephanie, and Mia Henderson; his mom, Barbara Goddard; several grandchildren; his sister, Lily (Chuck) Kelley; his brother, Norman (Linda) Leroux; his sister, DJ Henderson; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Ray’s Life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at 304 E. Highland Street in La Farge. Online Condolences may be expressed at www.vossfh.com.
