Rhonda L. Buckmaster, age 47 of Coon Valley, died Sunday, April 24, 2016 Rhonda L. Buckmaster, age 47 of Coon Valley, died Sunday, April 24, 2016 at her home after a year-long battle with cancer. She was born on January 21, 1969 in LaCrosse to Arlan and Virginia (Klos) Dwyer. On May 26, 1990 she was united in marriage to Brian Buckmaster at St. Peters Catholic Church on Middle Ridge. She was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Coon Valley. She had worked at Coon Valley Chiropractic prior to her illness. Rhonda enjoyed gardening, boating and reading, but she was most fond of playing with her grandson and relished the opportunity to babysit Colton shortly after he was born. In addition to her husband, Brian, Rhonda is survived by two children: Taylor (Jeff) LeJeune and Adam Buckmaster; grandson, Colton; siblings: Stanley (Sue) Dwyer of West Salem, Maxine Dwyer of Oregon, Wi, Darlene (Charles) Hundt of Bangor, Cindy (Bob) Janeiro of LaCrosse, Roxanne Dwyer of LaCrosse, Darrel (Laura) Dwyer of Onalaska, Marilyn (Randy) Jones of LaCrosse, Wayne (Bev) Dwyer of Chaseburg, Keith Dwyer of Westby, Sue (Greg) Tolvstad of LaCrosse, Brent (Diane) Dwyer of LaCrosse, Dan (Sue) Dwyer of Coon Valley, Lisa Dwyer of LaCrosse and Tim (Michele) Dwyer of Chaseburg; mother-in-law, Donna Buckmaster; brother-in-law, Jeff (Cherie) Buckmaster of Cashton; sister-in-law, Dawn (Mike) Olson of Chaska, MN; and grandfather-in-law, Ervin Gudgeon of LaFarge; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rhonda was preceded in death by her grandparents; her parents, Arlan and Virginia Dwyer; and her father-in-law: LaVonne Buckmaster. Blessed be our memory of Rhonda L. Buckmaster. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Ridge Catholic Church. The Rev. Timothy Wells will celebrate the Mass and Msgr. Robert Hundt will be the homilist. Burial will be in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, rural Coon Valley. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Hwy 14 in Westby and also at the church on Thursday after 9:30 a.m. Online condolences may be offered at www.VossFH.com.
