Richard Boland, 65, of Seneca, died Friday, March 24, 2017. Richard "Dick" Mark Boland, 65 of Seneca passed away, surrounded by family, to be with God on Friday, March 24, 2017. He was born on July 26, 1951 in Prairie du Chien, WI to Daniel and Mary Rita (Finley) Boland. He married Susan Schreck, of Seneca, on August 4th1979 at St. Patricks Catholic Church of Seneca, WI. Dick lived in the Seneca area all his life and was proud to be part of such a special community. His family was the center of his world. Much of his spare time was spent visiting, helping and fixing things for his family and friends. He served many years on the Seneca School Board and was a faithful member of the St. Patricks Church. He laughed, loved and joked with all that knew him and will be missed forever. He is survived by: his wife Sue; Daughters: Sonya (Shawn) Lenzendorf, and Shannon (Jason) Kriel; five beautiful granddaughters, Halle, Camryn, Tara, Meelin and Clareen; Siblings: Michael (Jeanne) Boland, Bernard "Butch" (Bonnie) Boland, Tom (MaryAnn) Boland, Tim (Barb) Boland, Dennis (Robin) Boland, Terry (Beth) Boland, Marleen (Gary) Venner, Maureen (John) Nebeck, Jerry (Ruth) Boland; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Daniel and Rita Boland; and siblings: Susie, Colleen, Daniel and Mary Boland. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the St. Patricks Catholic Church in Seneca. Fr. Zacharie Beya will officiate with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. Friends may also call at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. till the time of service at 11.
