Richard G. McKeeth, age 72 of Galesville, WI died February 3, 2007 Richard G. McKeeth, age 72 of Galesville, WI died February 3, 2007 at St. Joseph Nursing Home in Arcadia. He was born October 2, 1934 to Gale and Erna (Voss) McKeeth. He graduated from Galesville High School and Winona University. On August 8, 1959, he married Mary Trim. Dick was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Galesville and had been an active member of the Holmen Lutheran Church while they resided there. He was an accountant for the Gale Packing Company and Mississippi Valley Airlines, an alcohol and drug abuse counselor at St. Francis Hospital, and was employed by the Private Industry Council and Wheeler Realty which became Lovejoy Reality. He retired in 1995. Dick was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, nature, and teaching sports to young children. Giving time to his family and friends, and being a grandpa were his favorite jobs carving pumpkins, picking pussy willows, and teaching his grandchildren how to fish as soon as they could hold a fishing pole. His daughters-in-law were very special to him. Survivors include his wife, Mary; sons: Gale of Onalaska, Todd (Shannon) of New Ulm, MN, Carl (Lynn) of Arcadia, Pat (Cheryl) of Fountain City, and Matt (Amy) of Holmen; Grandchildren: Miranda, Corinne, and Carlyn McKeeth; Taryn, Cadyn, and Mattea McKeeth; Cole and Casey McKeeth; Jordan and Kennedy Vaaler; and Gavin and Remington McKeeth. He is further survived by his brother, David of Galesville; step-brother, James Anderson of Menomonie; brother-in-law, Bill Trim of Galesville; aunt Verna McCallum of Atlanta, GA; and cousins: Nancy, Carl, Marlene, and Howard. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Oscar Anderson, aunts, uncles, cousins, mother and father-in-law, Esther and Earl Trim; brother-in-law, George Trim, and sister-in-law, Phyllis Trim. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Galesville with Pastors Tom Lee and Todd Nelsen officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Friends may call at the church from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Westby is assisting the family.
