Richard M. Davidson, age 76 of Westby, died Monday, November 10, 2008 at Gundersen Lutheran in LaCrosse. Richard M. Davidson, age 76, of Westby died on Monday, November 10, 2008 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse. He was born on January 20, 1932 to David and Josie (Volden) Davidson. He worked for Kraemer Construction as a truck driver and retired at age 54. Richard liked going to farm auctions and talking to people. He enjoyed watching 'The Price is Right', 'Wheel of Fortune' and 'Millionaire'. Richard lived with his nephew, Tom, for years. Richard is survived by his daughter, Deanna (Ken) Homan of Michigan; son, Gerald (Renee) Jacobson of Virginia; 8 grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; brother, Leo Davidson of Chaseburg; sisters-in-law, Arlene Davidson of Westby and Joann Davidson of Spring Green; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Robert, Raymond, Lloyd, Delbert, Blaine and Virgil; sisters-in-law: Christine and Gertrude. Friends may call on Friday, November 14, 2008 from 4-6 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Main (Hwy. 14 S) in Westby. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Westby is serving the family.
