Robert Angelo Donohue, age 25 of LaCrosse, WI died on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 as the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was born in Woodruff, WI on July 9, 1981 to Robert and Barbara (Rauscher) Donohue. Angelo lived in Crystal Lake, IL for 11 years and later moved to Gays Mills, WI. After graduation he moved to Crystal Lake and then to Austin, TX where he went to work for Walgreens while attending college classes. He moved back to LaCrosse last January and was currently employed at Walgreens in LaCrosse. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family and was always ready for "fun". Angelo loved to fish, swim, wakeboard and snowboard and was known for his funny hats and generous heart! He is survived by his mother, Barbara Donohue of LaCrosse; his father, Robert Donohue (and friend Donna Olson) of Seneca; two sisters: Kate Donohue Nelson (Tim) of West Salem, WI, and Maria Donohue of LaCrosse; one brother, Gary Donohue of LaCrosse; maternal grandmother, Georgene Rauscher of LaCrosse; paternal grandfather, Lawrence Donohue and his wife Salena of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; two nieces, Taylor and Haley; two nephews, Kameran and Hayden; his uncles: Larry, Fran, Michael and Scott; his aunts: Jean and Mary; his beloved cousins: Jason (Holly), Emily (Andy) Kira, Abe, Sarah (Victor), Matt, Robbie and Jimmy; friend of the family, Dr. Kyla Lee; and a special friend of Angelo, Diana Babo of Algonquin, IL. Angelo was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Frank Rauscher and paternal grandmother, Lena Donohue. Services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Hwy 14 in Westby. The Reverend Dean Staffanson, Gundersen-Lutheran Hospice Chaplain will officiate. Friends may call on Saturday, April 21, 2007 from noon until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home in Westby. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated and will be used to establish a memorial fund in his name.
