Robert "Bob" Dempsey

Robert “Bob” Dempsey, age 75, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021. He was surrounded by loved ones in his Edgerton home. Bob was born in Viroqua, WI on December 10, 1945; the son of Leo “Joey” and Lillian (Smith) Dempsey. He served with the US Army in the Vietnam War. Bob enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, hunting, and many other outdoor activities. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, working with his bird dog, and spoiling his cat. Bob retired as an electrician from Stoughton Trailers. Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara (North) Dempsey; siblings: Regina (Duane) Jeffers, Richard (Vonda Gilmore) Dempsey; children: Eugene (Sandy) Dempsey, Tarry (Brett) Casper; grandchildren: Katherine Roth, Kaitlyn Dempsey, Connor Dempsey, Sara Roth, Tirzah Dempsey, Quinlan Dempsey, and Gerry Casper. He was proceeded in death by his parents and his brother, Jeremy Dempsey. Bob’s family will gather for a private funeral service with honor guard detail.
