Robert Togerson

Robert Torgerson, of Gays Mills, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016. Robert was born on August 26th, 1928. He was the oldest son of Richard and Pearl (Warren) Torgerson. He retired from Army in 1969 and moved to Soldiers Grove. He was united in marriage to Ruth Molkenthen on October 12, 1952. He is survived by six children: Robert (Lynn) Torgerson of AZ, Rita Hines of Gays Mills, Rina Torgerson of Waukegan IL, Rosemary (Don) Knobbe of Wadsworth IL, Russell (Connie) Torgerson of Gays Mills, and Ronald (Donna) Torgerson of Gays Mills; four brothers: Peter, Alan, David, and Larry Torgerson; three sisters: Rue Alice Ganka, Rose Zakem, and Norma Sokolik. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one sister: Elsie Novak; and two brothers: Roger and Richard Torgerson. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Vosseteig Funeral Home in Gays Mills. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Gays Mills cemetery.
