Robin L. Woods

On Sunday, Aug 13, 2023, at the age of 63 years old, Robin L. Woods died at home with her husband of almost 38 years, Timothy Woods. Anyone who knew Robin, knew her heart for Jesus. She shared the love of God and salvation through Jesus with everyone she encountered. She loved people and wanted everyone to know the boundless, unconditional love God has for them.

Robin accomplished many things in her life. She was a breeder of toy poodles and made sure they found loving homes. She graduated from Appalachian Bible College in 1984, with a degree in Christian Education. It was at Appalachian Bible College that she met her loving husband Tim. She spent many years teaching for Child Evangelism Fellowship loving on those children. She poured her life into many hurting souls over the years through Biblical counsel, prayer, and giving of herself, her time and gifts. She had a giving soul. She often wished she had more to give to those in need.

Robin beat cancer several times through nutrition and wanted to help others do the same. At the age of 56, she went back to school to become a phlebotomist. She earned the prized Theta Beta Kappa membership for her excellence in education. Sadly, her health prevented her from finishing that degree. But that did not stop her from researching and helping others find ways to combat disease naturally without medication.

Robin had experienced untold pain, but she always had peace in God’s love. God’s love radiated through her. Her light will be dearly missed. Donations may be directed to the memorial fund: Child Evangelism Fellowship.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 21, 2023, at Vosseteig Funeral Home in Westby. Pastor George Shick will officiate. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Robin will be laid to rest at Dell Cemetery.
