He was born on January 14, 1959 at Miami, FL to Kenneth Lyle and Darlene Mae (Peterson) Kingslien.Rodney has been a resident of Marathon, FL since 1967, coming from Coconut Grove. He was a member of the Sons of the Legion in Marathon. In his younger years he was a shrimper. Most recently he had worked for U.B. Bricken Pavers. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth L. Kingslien. Surviving is his mother Darlene M. Kingslien of Marathon, FL. Brothers Kenneth Kingslien of Marathon, FL and Dennis Kingslien of Janesville, Wisconsin; sister Judy Kingslien Watkins of High Springs, FL.The Dean-Lopez Funeral Home, Big Pine Key, FL is entrusted with local arrangements. Graveside services will be held at Coon Prairie Cemetery at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3, 2010. Pastor Julie Wollman will officiate.
