Rodney Peterson

Rodney S. Peterson, age 87, of Richland Center passed away Friday, June 10, 2022. He was born July 14, 1934, the son of Stanley and Cornelia Peterson. Rodney worked for Caterpillar, Inc. for 35 years in Joliet as a machinist. He was an avid bowler; bowling in ABC (American Bowling Conference) tournaments around the United States was a passion of his. Rodney is survived by his three children: Nadine and Alan Peterson of Illinois and Brian (Monica) Peterson of Ohio; two grandsons, Brandon and Kyle of Illinois; one granddaughter, Stephanie Rocklin of New York; seven great-grandchildren; siblings: Karen Sigl, Richard (Coleen) Peterson, Bonnie Applebee, Gary (Mary Jo) Peterson, Carolyn Peterson, Archie (JoLynne) Peterson, Mary Peterson, and Ole (Lois) Peterson; and nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Daryl; his brother, Robert “Bullet” Peterson; and his sister, Jacqueline “Jackie” Shively. Per his wishes, there will be no services at this time for Rodney.
