He was born on November 5, 1939 in the township of Christiana to Clyde W. and Dorothy A. (Federer) Alderman. Rodney held various jobs thorough his life including working at the Lansing John Deere Co. and Bud Cheese Factory. He is survived by his sons, Wayne E. (Lauri) Alderman of LaCrosse, WI and Jake E. Alderman of Suffolk, VA; four grandchildren: Michael Wayne Alderman, Nicole Jan Alderman, Daniel William Alderman, and Kristin Jo Alderman, all of LaCrosse, WI; his six siblings: Glen Alderman of LaFarge, Roger Alderman of Sparta, Sharon Vincere of LaFarge, Robert (Donna) Steinmetz of Mound, MN, Dorothy (Bernie) Soltau of Tucson, AZ, and Darlene Steinmetz of Sea Brook, TX.
