Roger Lee Larson

Roger Lee Larson, age 75, of rural Westby, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026. He was born on May 20, 1951, in Viroqua to the late Vernon and Thelma (Haakenson) Larson. He graduated from Westby High School with the class of 1969. Roger drove school bus for the Westby School District for 35 years. He also farmed and raised tobacco. Roger loved sports of all kinds and followed the Packers, Badgers and Brewers. He also enjoyed playing pool and bowling. Roger married Barb Jacobson on October 10, 1996, and together they celebrated nearly 30 years of marriage.

Survivors include his wife, Barb; his children, Bradley (Jackie) Larson, Cheryl Gurney, Angela (Kenny Heath) Larson, Steve (Michelle) Christianson, Susan (Rob Sugden) Barreau; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; his sister, Karen Hodge; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Leo Gerke; and his brother-in-law, David Hodge.

A Memorial Service will be held at Noon on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Vosseteig Funeral Home in Westby. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A reception will follow. Roger will be laid to rest at Coon Prairie Cemetery.
