Roger Molldrem

Roger G. Molldrem, 59, died Monday, September 3, 2012. Roger G. Molldrem, age 59, formerly of Gays Mills, died Monday, September 3, 2012. He was born on May 21, 1953 to Russell and Gladys (Iverson) Molldrem and was baptized and confirmed at Utica Lutheran Church. Roger attended North Crawford High School and auctioneering college in Iowa. He loved country music and working on his parents dairy farm. Roger worked on the TCHCC dairy farm when it was in operation and enjoyed remenising about the past and farming. He had a sharp mind and never forgot a name. He collected caps and tractors and was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan. Roger enjoyed special trips with his sister, family, and friends including his trip to Branson, and spending time with his special nephew, Layne. Roger had an infectious smile and made many friends where he resided. He is survived by his sister, Carolyn (Roger) Sorenson; two nieces: Nicole (Hans) Tanke and Wendy Sorenson; one nephew, Layne Sorenson; two great-nieces: Hannah and Annika Tanke; several cousins and four aunts: Alice Olson, Nora Olson, Stella Wee and Margaret Halverson. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Blessed be our memory of Roger Molldrem. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 3 p.m. at the Utica Lutheran Church. The Rev. Dr. Steven Fossum will officiate with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday after 2:00 p.m. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Gays Mills is serving the family.
