Ron Huff

Ron Huff, age 66, of Viroqua, passed away Monday, August 2, 2021, at Vernon Memorial Hospital. He was born April 21, 1955, in Sparta to the late Rudolph and Gertrude (Thousand) Huff. He attended Norwalk Schools from the age of 10 until he turned 18. He worked for many years with VARC, Inc. Ron loved food and parties; he enjoyed the Christmas Season, the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers and he enjoyed bowling with the Special Olympics. You could often see Ron walking around Viroqua visiting with folks. He liked to watch the airplanes at the airport and trains. Survivors include his sister, Judy Wright of Cashton; his niece, Trudy (Brandon Marx) Winchel; his nephews, Bruce Winchel, Benjamin Winchel, Bill Winchel, and Brad Winchel; 19 great-nieces and great-nephews; other relatives and friends. Ron was preceded in death by his parents. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Special Olympics appreciated. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home in Viroqua. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 7, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home. Additional visitation will be held Sunday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Ron will be laid to rest in the Viroqua Cemetery.
