Ronald A. DunnumNovember 3, 2005 Ronald A. Dunnum, age 67 of Westby, was born January 8, 1938 in Portland, Wisconsin to Raymond and Alice (Torgerson) Dunnum. He graduated from Cashton High School and on July 22, 1959 was united in marriage to Janet Arla Scharping. Together they rented and farmed the Martin Rusdal farm for four years near Westby, then rented Hartwick "Stretch" and Elaine Skaars farm for five years until January 1, 1969 when they purchased the farm. Ronald was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church where he had served on the church council and was a part of the MOOS Club. He had served on the Equity Board and was a member of the Westby Coop Creamery for 45 years. Ronald thoroughly enjoyed playing cards, especially UNO. In addition to his wife, Janet, he is survived by six children: Bonnie J. Myhre and Darla A. (Jim) Hansen, both of Westby, Arlan R. Dunnum of Owen, Carmen J. and Paula (Osuski) Dunnum of West Salem, Michele R. (Eric) Larson of LaCrosse, and Ryan H. and Jamie (Howell) Dunnum of Westby; 14 grandchildren: Scott (Veronica), Andrew (Lindsay), April (James), Anthony (Stephanie), Madelyn, Lauren, Paige, Katelyn, Hart, Devin, Brady, Riley, Will and Kent; one great-grandson, Landon; one brother, Milan Dunnum of Westby; two sisters: Lou Ann (Mark) Jelinek of Green Bay and Jeanette (Leslie) Zebell of Cashton; one half-brother Arnold (Babe) Kerska; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Arden D. Dunnum who died at birth; one brother, Clinton Dunnum; one sister, Delaine Dunnum; one sister-in-law, Alice Dunnum; nephew, Aaron Zebell; four brothers-in-law: Neal Will, Ellsworth Role, Vernon Scharping and Arthur Marx
