Ronald Anthony Cina

VIOLA Ronald Anthony Cina, age 75, formerly of Viola died Sunday July 30, 2017 in Kerrville TX. Ron was born on June 10, 1942 in Forest Township, Viola, to Nick and Juanita (Ames) Cina. He was a graduate of Viola High School. After school Ron entered the Armed Forces serving in both the U.S. Air Force and then U.S. Navy for 16 years before retiring in TX in 1983. Ron enjoyed a number of hobbies, hunting, fishing and treasure hunting (metal detecting) with Marty. His favorite pastime was hunting arrowheads and Indian relics on the family farm. Like Ron always said, " I live in Texas, but Wisconsins Home!" Ron is survived by; his wife of 30 years Jean, three sisters Kathy (Steve) Olson of Soldiers Grove, Melissa Cina of Bloomington MN, and Ahna Cina of Sun Prairie, and four brothers, Nick (Jackie) Cina of Belvidere IL, Marty Cina of Viola, Frank (Susan) Cina of Byron WY, and Duane (Claire) Cina of Viola. Also surviving are two children, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Laal. Funeral Services will be Friday August 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Vosseteig Funeral Homes Henthorn Memorial Center, 129 S. Main St. in Viola. Father Don Bauer of St. Aloysius Parrish in Hillsboro will officiate. Burial with Military Honors will follow the service at Kickapoo Center Cemetery south of Viola off Route 131. Friends may call during a visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM before the service. In lieu of flowers or plants, the family would appreciate memorials.
