Ronald Mossholder

Ronald Mossholder, 78, of Westby, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Ronald D. Mossholder, age 78 of Bloomingdale, rural Westby, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015. He was born on July 10, 1936 to Roland and Hattie (Hilton) Mossholder. On July 11, 1959 he was united in marriage to Patricia L. Jeffords in Milwaukee. Ronnie served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was retired from Trane Co. in LaCrosse in July of 1997 after 30 years. He had also worked at American Motors in Milwaukee and Badger Ordinance. Ronnie was involved in his community and welded for the Amish. He is survived by his children: Bonnie (Kent) Tomlinson, Susan Marx, Roland Mossholder, Linda (Michael) Peters, Darlene (Tim) Washburn, and Michael Mossholder; ten grandchildren: Vincent Mossholder, Derrek Marx, Brock (Angie) Marx, Jessica (Kevin) Simpson, Erica (Paul) Steinmetz, Collin Mossholder, Steven Mossholder, Becky Hicks and Sam Peters; eight great-grandchildren: Anna and Aaron Marx, Lawson Hicks, Nora, Hope and Kade Simpson, Talen Steinmetz and Damon Peterson; sister-in-law, Bonnie "Peg" Mossholder; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia on July 22, 1996; two brothers: Ralph and Harlan "Moke" (Sally) Mossholder; three sisters: Dorothy (Frank) Zeller, Helen (Don) Jacobs and Margaret (Norman) Lindvig. A Funeral Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Hwy 14 in Westby with Pastor George Shick officiating. Burial with military rites will follow in the Bloomingdale Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home in Westby.
