Rose Mary Steines

Rose Steines, age 72, of Beloit, WI died on Friday, April 11, 2025. Rose had an enduring love for music, which filled her life with rhythm and joy. Her affection extended deeply to her fur-babies, especially her cherished dog, Angel, who brought companionship and love for 16 wonderful years before passing. She also had a gift for making holidays magical, hosting meals and gatherings that became beloved traditions for her family. Her children will always treasure the joyful memories of dancing around with her, moments of happiness that they hold close to their hearts. The memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Survivors include her children, Sons, Richard Dement and Eugene (Brenda) Engebretson; Daughters, Catina (Larry) Lunceford, Emeline Steines, and Nakea (Jesse) Lafferty; her Brothers, Danny Dement, Larry (Kristina) Riddle, Joey (Tina) Dement, Philip (Linda Pettis) Dement, William (Jane) Dement, Tim Denman and George Denman; her Sisters, Jenifer (Wayne) Draeger, Bonnie (Dale) Ruechel, Marcia (Charlie Allen) Ruhr and Ruby Clary; her Stepmother, Shirley Dement; her Partner of 26 years; Mark Albertie; multiple Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, and many other Relatives and Friends.

Rose was preceded in death by her Husband, David Steines; Mother, Cleo Duell; Father, Billy Dement; Brothers, Billy Dement JR and Donald Riddle; and Granddaughter, Rachelle Dement.

A Funeral Service for Rose will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Vosseteig Funeral Home in Gays Mills. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Rose will be laid to rest at the Gays Mills Cemetery.
