Rosene Lee

Rosene Lee, age 96 of Westby, died Thursday, October 27, 2011. Rosene Lee, 96, of Grace Healthcare LLC, River Falls, Wis. and Formerly of Westby died at River Falls Hospital, with family present on Thursday, October 27, 2011 from complications of pneumonia. She will be missed by all who knew her. Her compassion, caring and love will be forever in our hearts. She was born October 6, 1915 in Vernon County to Iver and Oline (Lonbakken) Oium. She married Nordahl T. Lee on October 16, 1943 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Westby. They farmed in the Westby area until they retired. Nordahl died October 7, 1990. She is survived by three sons: Larry of Westby, David (Janet) of Randall, WA, and Mark of Prairie Du Chien; and a daughter, Jeanne (Daniel) Clark of River Falls; four grandsons: Chad (Diane) Clark of River Falls, WI; Bradley (Kathleen Kuhn) Clark of Baldwin, WI; Mark Lee of Omaha, NE; and Matthew Lee of Lake Tapps, WA; and two great-grandchildren: Payge (Brad) Clark and Nathan (Chad) Clark; and one sister-in-law, Lilah Ostrem of Viroqua; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one grandchild, Jason David Lee; her parents; and 10 siblings: Carl, Clarence, Oscar, Melvin, Eda, Claudia, Ellen, Ida, Josie and Verna; and 10 sisters and brothers-in-law. Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 31st at 1:00 p.m. at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Westby, WI. The Reverend Stephen Minnema will officiate with burial in Our Saviors Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday at the church from 12:00 noon until time of service at 1:00.
