Russell M. Page, age 72 of Onalaska, died Monday, April 19, 2010. Russell M. Page, age 72 of Onalaska, died Monday April 19, 2010 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center after a brief illness with his family surrounding him. He was born July 10, 1937 to Robert and Florence (Herrmann) Page, the second oldest of 15. He graduated from Onalaska High School with the class of 1956. On December 19, 1964 he married Sandra Pinkham. Together they had three daughters: Roberta, Doreen and Kimberly; two honorary sons: Thom and Nick. He will also be missed by his two beloved dogs, Bear and Panda. A lifelong resident of Onalaska, he enjoyed his job of 29 years with the LaCrosse MTU driving city bus. He enjoyed spending time with his family playing cards, having picnics and hashing over current events. He was a huge fan of reading and Harry Potter. In addition to his children, he is survived by eight sisters and five brothers; his father and mother-in-law, Leo and Opal Pinkham; many brothers and sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews; and a great group of neighbors and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years; his parents; one sister, one niece, and many in-laws. "Dad- (our rock) we are glad you are finally out of pain and are at peace. You will be missed, you were greatly loved. your kids." A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 23, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Onalaska Cemetery. A picnic luncheon will follow. Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Hwy 14 in Westby. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Westby is serving the family. .
