Ruth I. Hall, age 99 of Viroqua and formerly of Viola, died Sunday, July 08, 2007 Ruth I. Hall, age 99 of Viroqua and formerly of Viola, died Sunday, July 08, 2007 at the Vernon Manor Nursing Home in Viroqua. She was born on January 29, 1908 on the family farm in Camp Creek (Richland County, Wisconsin) to George and Merta (Sandmire) Milum. She graduated from Viola High School. She had lived in California for 18 years where she belonged to the Methodist Church. She had returned to Viola in the 1970s and moved to Westby in 2004. She is survived by two sons, William of Westby and Michael of Maine; and two grandchildren: Adam and Tammy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Clyde and Vern; and two sisters: Veva Matthes and Joy Lepley. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 13, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Homes Henthorn Memorial Center in Viola. Pastor Laverne Larson will officiate with burial in the Viola Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from noon until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. The Vosseteig Funeral Homes Henthorn Memorial Center of Viola is serving the family.
