Scott Thomas Lasky, 41, of Westby, died on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Scott Thomas Lasky, 41, of Westby, died on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 as the result of an auto accident. He was born April 21, 1970 in Waukesha, Wis. to Thomas and Carol (Vesbach) Lasky. Scott graduated from Westby High School in 1988. He worked as an ironworker having helped build the Brewer Stadium and the Mile High Stadium in Denver, Colorado. He took great pride in his work. Scott enjoyed the out doors, especially hunting and camping. He also found enjoyment in grilling and out door cooking. He is survived by his mother, Carol (David) Hall of Westby; father, Thomas Lasky of Texas; three children: Bryant, Cassandra and Savanna Lasky; the mother of his children, Jennifer Oium of Westby; siblings: Jared (Tracy), Matt (Karla), and Tonia Lasky, Ann (Travis) Anderson and Vicky (AJ) Hess; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Viroqua. Father Michael Gorman will celebrate the Mass with burial in the Coon Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call at St. Marys Church from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. Blessed be our memory of Scott T. Lasky. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Westby is serving the family.
