Shannon Snider, a beloved soul who brought light and joy to many, passed away peacefully at the age of 55. She will be remembered for her kind spirit, warm smile, and the gentle way she touched the lives of those around her.
Shannon spent her early school years in Viroqua, attending Viroqua Elementary while living with the Mendiola family. Later, she moved to LaFarge, where she became part of the Copper Group Homes community. Despite the move, she remained connected to Viroqua, where she continued her education and proudly graduated in 1991.
As she grew older, Shannon found a new home in West Salem, where she continued to be surrounded by support and care. Throughout her life, Shannon was known for her love of life and her ability to brighten the days of everyone she encountered. Her meticulous penmanship was a reflection of the care she brought to everything she did.
Shannon’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, resilience, and joy. A prayer service will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home in Viroqua. Burial will follow in the Chapel Hill Cemetery, La Farge.
