Sharon Lee Dahl, of Westby, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the age of 78. Sharon was born on May 29, 1946, to Norman and Opal (Hanson) Dank. On September 24, 1966, Sharon married the love of her life, Ronald Dahl. Together they farmed for over forty years while raising five children. Sharon loved the outdoors. She loved her large flower beds, cutting firewood, gardening, fishing, and sewing. Sharon always had a warm smile to go with her big heart. Her family was her life. Just like her flowers that grew and bloomed into something beautiful, so did her family and that made her so happy.
Sharon is survived by four children: Nicholas (Nicole) Dahl, Lisa (Mark) Stamper, Timothy Dahl, and Jason (Holly) Dahl; 12 grandchildren: Adrian Polodna, Allycia (Ty) Harris, Ava Dahl, Megan (Tyler) Freitag, Jacob (Samantha) Stamper, Haley (Jerame) Lybert, Colin Stamper, Cody (Lindsey) Dahl, Andorra, Salvador, Renata, and Giuseppe Dahl; seven great-grandchildren: Eden, Aspen, Piper, and Haven Feirtag, Abby and Charlie Stamper, Watson and Parker Lybert, and Lillian and Elsie Dahl; one sister, Karen (Jim) Ritterhouse; and two brothers, Roger and Lyle Dank.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, her son, Eric, and her parents, Norman and Opal.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Bethel Lutheran Church, rural Viroqua. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Sharon will be laid to rest at the church cemetery next to her husband, Ronald, with a luncheon to follow in the church basement.
