GAYS MILLS Stephanie Jacobson, age 47 of Prairie du Chien and formerly Viroqua, died Friday, December 15, 2017. Stephanie Jane (Harris) Jacobson, age 47, died in her sleep, Friday, December 15, 2017. Steph was known for many things: her fierce love of family and friends, vulgarity, her laugh and smile, arguing about who is the favorite, her sense of humor, her love of drama, and drinking one (or two) too many Keystone Lights. Steph was one of a kind. People fell in love with her, no matter her level of sass and meanness. She was loved and will be missed by many. Steph is survived by her children, Shelby, Chase, and Ryker Jacobson; grandson, Ayden Wallace; boyfriend, Jay Papenfuss; parents, Christina (Harris) Dolan and Don (Ingrid) Purvis; maternal grandmother, Jane Harris; brothers, Adam (Heather) Dolan, John Purvis, and Jason (Angie) Purvis; sister, Jennifer Purvis; sister-in-law, Diana Mickelson; brother-in-law, Darian Jacobson; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, enemies, and six squirrels. Preceded in death by her loving husband Larry Jacobson; daughter, Courtney Jacobson; and stepfather, Joseph Dolan. Funeral Services will be held in Gays Mills, WI at the Vosseteig Funeral Home (325 Sunset Ridge Ave, Gays Mills, WI) on December 30, 2017 from 3pm-5pm with luncheon to follow at Societys Sons Clubhouse.
