Steven Lepley, age 50 of Minneapolis died Sunday, November 30, 2008. Steve Lepley, age 50, formerly of Prescott, Wisconsin died November 30th in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he had been a resident since 1987. Steve was born in Fon Du Lac, Wisconsin on June 29th, 1958. He moved to Prescott Wisconsin with his family in 1964 and spent his formative years there. He graduated from Prescott High School as Valedictorian in 1976 and then graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 1980. While living in Duluth, he worked in banking and retail sales. Steve moved to Minneapolis in 1987 and was employed at Data Serve through 1995 where he traveled extensively as a corporate software trainer. Following his job at Data Serve, he freelanced. Throughout his life, Steve enjoyed music, spending time with family and friends and traveling to California, especially the wine country, and Florida, specifically Key West and Sarasota, where his parents retired. He was precluded in death by his parents, Bernal Lepley, who passed away in June of 1995, and Shirley Lepley, who passed away in December of 2006. Surviving Steve are his partner, Timothy Jon Berg, who currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and his sister, Lisa Lepley, who currently resides in Naperville, Illinois. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Viola United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Viola Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Friday after 12:00 noon. The Vosseteig Funeral Homes Henthorn Memorial Center of Viola is serving the family.
