Steven “Pee Wee” Robert Parr, a man with a heart as big as his laugh, passed away on December 3rd, 2025, surrounded by those who loved and adored him. Born with an easy smile and a spirit built for adventure, Steve lived his life the way most people only dream of—full of grit, humor, and zero complaints, even in the face of illness.
A proud graduate of La Farge High School and a veteran of the United States Army, Steve carried both discipline and kindness into everything he touched. Throughout his life, he took on many roles—mechanic, auto body worker, carpenter, farmer—and he excelled at them all. If it needed fixing, building, or growing, Steve was your guy.
But his real superpower was storytelling. Steve could spin a tale better than anyone, always with a punchline ready to land. His humor, warmth, and happy-go-lucky nature made him magnetic. People didn’t just like Steve—they loved him. He was the kind of man you felt lucky to know, the kind who showed up, made you laugh, and left every room lighter than he found it.
Steve never complained, not even when life gave him every reason to. His strength was quiet but unshakeable, and his positivity stayed intact all the way to the end.
He leaves behind a family who adored him beyond measure, along with countless friends and community members who will forever feel the loss of his presence.
Steve lived a big life in the simplest, most genuine way—full of work, stories, and love. And if you knew him, you know that’s exactly how he would've wanted it.
Survivors include his mother, Maureen Hysel; his children, Sally Howard and Jamie (Eldon) Daughenbaugh; his grandchildren, Matthew, Brianna, Hailee, Hunter, Haiden, and David; two great grandchildren; his siblings, Tim Parr, Gina Parr, and Karla Clark; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Robert Parr and his brother, Marlin “Butch” Parr.
