Theron James Gudgeon age 84 of La Farge, died Thursday September 19, 2019. Theron James Gudgeon age 84 of La Farge, died Thursday September 19, 2019 at Dove Health Care N.H. in Osseo WI, surrounded by loved ones and caregivers. James was born in LaFarge WI on October 30, 1934 to Oscar and Bernice (Richards) Gudgeon. He spent 83 years of his life in the area. After graduating from high school, James married Marla Jean Glick on September 10, 1955, and together raised three children. James life was well lived. He spent his entire life farming right up to retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman loving to hunt and fish. He enjoyed playing cards and talking with friends old and new. Mostly, he loved his family, and James will truly be missed. James is survived by; his loving wife Marla, his children Lisa (George) Marks of Cottage Grove, Kris (Kim) Gudgeon of Green Bay and granddaughter Abigail Gudgeon and Alan (Shelley Scherer) Gudgeon of Merrillan. Also surviving is his brother Lee (Donna) of LaFarge, and sisters-in-law Geri and Betty, and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by; his mother Bernice in 1938 and his father Oscar in 1979. Also preceding him are; an infant sister Erma, his brothers Harold, Richard, Eldon, Ervin and Lyle, his sister Esther Strait. Private services for James have been rendered.
