Tammy J. Benson, age 43 of Menomonee Falls, Wis., died Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Tammy J. Benson, age 43 of Menomonee Falls, Wis., died suddenly on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. She was born on April 2, 1969 in Racine, Wis to Terry and Carol (Abraham) Benson. Tammy enjoyed her 16 years as a medical coder in the Milwaukee/Racine/Kenosha areas. She was currently working on her associate degree. Tammy loved fishing and enjoyed rummage sales. She was a "people person" and loved to laugh as well as making others laugh: Tammy enjoyed Life! She is survived by her fiance, Jeff Welsh of Menomonee Falls and formerly of Gays Mills; her parents: Terry and Carol Benson of DeSoto and Union Grove; three brothers: Tim Benson, Tom (Tammie) Benson and Todd (Rosanne) Benson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Tammy was preceded in death by her grandparents. Services will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home, 320 Main Street (Hwy 82) in DeSoto. Friends may call at the Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home in DeSoto one hour prior to the service. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of DeSoto is serving the family.
