Timothy James Hill 03/02/1962 – 06/28/2021 Tim went to be with his Lord surrounded by his family after a long battle with cancer. Tim was born in Janesville, Wis., to Bruce Hill and Deanna Johnson, the former Deanna Gilman. Tim grew up in both the Janesville and La Farge areas. Tim had many interests. He loved his cars, trucks and tractors. He was a born auto-body man. He restored and painted many cars and trucks and a few tractors too. He worked in many different places and states. Tim was employed by La Farge Truck Center, where he had many friends until he became ill. He got his start at the truck center as a teenager and was glad to be back where he got his start. Tim loved fishing. Any fishing was a great adventure for him. He could often be seen on the banks of Bear Creek catching trout. He loved to go to the Great Lakes and fish for salmon. He and his wife were foster parents for many years. Over the years, many children came and went, but they always held a special place in his heart. There are three children that he and his wife were working on adopting: David Allen, Makelia Allen, and Devin Shelton. To them he is Dad. Tim became a better parent as he aged and came to appreciate parenthood. He is survived by his wife, Tina Hill of La Farge; his mother, Deanna Johnson, of Caledonia, MN; his son, Wyatt (Jennifer) Hill and granddaughter, Bianca, all of Beaver Dam, Wis.; one step-son, Brandon (Michelle) Brueggeman and two granddaughters, Trista and Randi Brueggeman, of Smyrna, TN; and a step-granddaughter, Kerri Johnson (Jesse Grim) and step great-grandsons Kayson and Connor of Westby, Wis. Further survived by one brother, Kevin (Lori) Hill of Juneau, Wis. and nieces, Kayla, and Krista and nephew, Kody. He is also survived by two honorary granddaughters, Kara and Payton Wehner. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. Tim was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Hill; a step-son, Tyghler Stout; both sets of grandparents; aunts, uncles and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at the La Farge Free Methodist Church. Visitation will be held at church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. There will be a lunch after the service. There will be no graveside service. His ashes will be scattered according to his wishes at a later date.
