Trevor Virby Hoke

Trevor Virby Hoke, age 42, of Spring Green, WI, passed away unexpectedly after a long illness on Saturday, July 16, 2022. He was born March 05, 1980, in Madison to Gary Hoke and Cheryl (Johnson) Reed. Trevor had a passion for camping and sitting around the campfire with his best friend, Garet Taylor; he loved the Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Bears, and enjoyed being on the golf course. He was very close to his family and friends and was a farmer at heart. Trevor earned an Associate Degree from Southwest Tech. in Golf Course Management. In his younger years, he would spend time with his grandpa in San Antonio, Texas. You could always find Trevor next to his dog (bull mastiff), Cletus. Survivors include his parents, Gary Hoke and Cheryl Reed; three sisters, Jaclynn (Jason Leis) Yocum, Julie (Mandy Lund) Okerstrom, and Katy (Derek) Kozlak; his son, Oliver; several nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; other relatives and friends. Trevor was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Virgil and Dorothy (Gray) Johnson and paternal grandparents, Byron and Matie (Cornwall) Hoke; his stepmom, Roxanne Hoke; his uncle, John Johnson and his aunt, Beverly Hitt. In lieu of flowers, memorials to your local humane society in Trevor’s name would be appreciated. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home in Viroqua. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Trevor will be laid to rest at the Viola Cemetery. A luncheon will follow the burial at the Viola United Methodist Church. Online Condolences may be expressed at www.vossfh.com.
