Troy David Campbell, age 54, of Onalaska, WI, formerly of Marshall, WI, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021. He was born November 28, 1966, to the late David and Suzanne (McCoy) Campbell. Troy was born and raised in La Farge, WI, where he attended school and graduated from La Farge High School in 1985. After graduating, he worked in La Farge at Howard’s Market while attending Southwest Technical College in Fennimore, WI. In 1987, Troy married Kathy Potter and they moved to Madison, WI, and eventually, settled in Marshall, WI where they raised their two beautiful children: Jacelyn and Cameron. Troy was a meat cutter for about 35 years, which he truly enjoyed. Troy had many interests: He loved camping, boating, fishing, golfing, and he really enjoyed playing and spending time with his children or sharing an occasional beer with friends. He was incredibly generous, making sure others were taken care of before himself. Troy always had a smile on his face and treated everyone as a friend; there were no strangers. He also had a wonderful sense of humor. Troy is survived by his two children: Jacelyn Jo Campbell and Cameron Troy (fiancé Kayla) Campbell; former wife, Kathy Potter Campbell; brothers, Jeffrey (Cindy) Campbell and Trevor (Jody) Campbell; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at the La Farge Free Methodist Church. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. A luncheon will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
