Verle M. Fish, 93, of Bloomingdale died Sunday, November 28, 2010. Verle M. Fish, 93 of Bloomingdale, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 28, 2010. She was born on February 25, 1917 to Andrew and Ethel (Nelson) Perkins. She was united in marriage to Milford C. Fish in 1934. Verle had worked at the Vernon Manor in Viroqua for 20 years and was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church, rural LaFarge. She is survived by her children, sons: Robert Fish, Pete (Wilma) Fish, Kirby (June) Fish, Jimmy (Linda) Fish, Jerry (Mya) Fish, Milford, Jr. (Judy) Fish, Danny (Kenda) Fish, Steven (Nancy) Fish; daughters: Mary Forde, Lila Litsey, Dayle (Terry) Whiting, Jeanne (Jerry) Squire, Rosa (Mike) Hanson, Christine Mellem, Betty Fish & Judy Hanson; son-in-law, Harodl Nofsinger; 43grandchildren; 67great-grandchildren; 17great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Milford; son, Henry Fish; daughter, Linda Nofsinger; daughter-in-law, Hiroko Fish; son-in-law, Reuben Forde; granddaughter, Debbie Volden; two sisters: Merle Steinmetz and Leota Peters; and great-grandson, Heath Fish. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Faith United Methodist Church, rural LaFarge, Wis. Pastor George Shick will officiate with burial in the Bloomingdale Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Hwy 14 in Westby. Friends may also call on Wednesday from noon until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials are preferred. The Vosseteig Funeral Home of Westby is serving the family.
