Welma June Frye "Grandma", age 82 of Warrens, Wisconsin, died Saturday morning, January 27, 2007 Welma June Frye "Grandma", age 82 of Warrens, Wisconsin, passed away early Saturday morning, January 27, 2007 very peacefully at Blue Sky Assisted Living with her care givers, Janice and Mary Anne. She was born on May 1, 1924 in Whitestownship, Vernon County, Wisconsin to Frank and Maude Smith. Welma loved living in the country with the Stump family and enjoyed going to the kids soccer games. In addition to her care givers and family, Welma is survived by one son, William Frye of Viroqua; one daughter, Alvina "Peggy" Frye of Prairie du Chien; and three sisters: Garnet Winchel of Wonewoc, Ethel Munson of Viroqua and Elva Thomas of Norwalk. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth; and nine siblings: Raymond, Lillian, Carol, Leatha, Errol, Kenneth, Bertrand, Patrick, and Mildred. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home, 708 S. Hwy 14 in Westby. Pastor Edwin Stigen will officiate with burial in the Rockton, Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday morning after 9:00 a.m. at the Vosseteig Funeral Home in Westby.
