Willette Hack age 98 of Viroqua, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Willette Hack age 98 of Viroqua, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013. She was born on March 10, 1915 in Ohio to John and Willette (Knapp) Drummond. In 1938 she was united in marriage to Dr. Rudolph W. Hack in Chicago. They lived most of their life in San Bernardino, California where they raised their children and Willette worked in her husbands doctors office. Together they spent their lifetime traveling all over the world with the intent to provide missionary type services including medical services, money, food, clothing and shelter. They started going to Thailand in the 1980s and Willette continued the work each year after her husband died. She travelled to Thailand as recently as March of this year. She is survived by one son, Jonathon "Jon" of Viroqua; several people she considered her children including: Susan Tully, Ming Tran and Jimmy Tran; grandchildren: Megan Tully, Stephanie Hack, Trevor Hack, Rick Tully, Tim Tully, Elizabeth Jenkins, Emily Kabat, and Donald Tully, III; many great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Rudolph Hack in July of 1991; one son, Benjamin Hack; one brother, John Drummond and one sister, Dorothy Evans. Blessed be our memory of Willette Hack. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Viroqua United Methodist Church. Pastor Ethan Larson will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Saturday after 2:00 p.m. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
