William Pillath

William J. Pillath, age 49 of DeSoto, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 1, 2014. William John Pillath, age 49 of DeSoto, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at his home. He was the son of Robert James and Susan (Wedemeyer) Pillath and was born on May 24, 1964 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Bill worked at Kwik Trip in LaCrosse in the Dairy Department for the last five years. He enjoyed the outdoors including boating and motorcycling. He was a Green Bay Packer and Wisconsin Badger fan and was a hard working, loving and caring man. On August 10, 2007 he was united in marriage to Renee Davis. In addition to his wife, Renee, he is survived by his daughter, Ashlee Mae Brooke Pillath of LaCrosse; two step-children, Justin and Jessa Kelleher; his mother, Susan (Terry) Riek of Lake Geneva, WI; his grandmother, Gertrude Pillath; two bothers: James (Jerrie) Pillath and Robert (Zoe) Pillath; nieces and nephews: Autumn, Mackenzie, Max and Olivia Pillath; his dogs: "Barny Beagle" and the boys; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. Blessed be our memory of William John Pillath. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Vosseteig Larson Funeral Home, 320 Main St (Hwy 82) in DeSoto.
