William S. Johnson, age 77 of LaFarge, died Thursday, December 27, 2012 William S. Johnson, age 77 of LaFarge, died Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Vernon Memorial Hospital in Viroqua. He was born on December 8, 1935 to Ernest and Lucille (Harris) Johnson. He was career military, serving in the USAF. He then worked for the United States Postal Service for 13 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda (Sites); two sons: Bill (Rhoda) Johnson of Huntsville, AL and John Johnson of Santa Rosa, CA; five daughters: Brittany Johnson of Decorah, IA, Teresa (Brian) Bartlett of Santa Rosa, CA, Susan (Dan) Maners of Santa Rosa, CA, Calista (Jacob) Seelinger of Decorah, IA, and Christina (Brett) Masek of Decorah, IA; 13 grandchildren; one sister and two brothers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers. Blessed be our memory of William S. Johnson Service will be held at a future date. The Vosseteig-Larson Funeral Home of Viroqua is serving the family.
